Thanks for visiting my Blog here.
I’m Srinivasan A Paul Joseph, a computer professional having more than 10 years of experience in the Programming domain. I’m a dedicated developer and designer. Though I’ve came a long way in my experience and was not actually working in active development full time, I do develop unique websites, web applications, utilities and applications of all sorts as a freelancer to hone my skills.
Whenever I had enough of programming and internet browsing, my ultimate leisure will be playing games. I’m not a dedicated gamer as I do have to take care of a family and has serious business to do. But I always step in game play whenever I can afford. By nature, I’m a lover of best of the machines (at least, as much as I can buy) to beat my various tasks as Gamer, Developer and Designer. I’ve been blogging for some time now about technology and related stuff. I do even have a Gadgets blog (Gadget Scraps) which will hint you how delighted I am about electronic gadgets. But, I never thought of opening a Blog for gaming (which is equally important as gadgets and computers to me) until I came across a blog named Matt Plays. It was created by a dedicated gamer Matt Burris. He created this Blog to give a glimpse of the actual footages of Game Play that he plays in his high end systems. It was so awesome that in that point itself I decided that I should open a Blog like that but not a replica of the same. I already write articles on reviews and related things in my Gadget Scraps blog. So, I decided that I should do the same to this Blog to make it unique and appealing. I asked for help and Matt Burris was really cool about it. He helped me on how to record Game footages and how to convert that into FLV video so that I can insert in my blog. Even, he introduced me how to have the same animation (which I later learned as the Letterbox type) as in his Blog which was so awesome. He is my friend now and an inspiration for me in this area. I thank him very much through this Blog.
As of writing this, the following are the features I’m thinking for this Blog:
- Realtime Game Play Footages: By default High Quality videos with a balance on performance, quality and size. I recommend minimum 256 kbps bandwidth to watch them live. If you don’t have enough bandwidth, please download the videos to your local hard disk and then play it with freely available JW Desktop Player. You can download the videos by right clicking on the Screenshot that triggers the video and choose Save Link As… (Firefox) or Save Target As… (Internet Explorer) or Download Linked File As… (Safari). These videos will contain one full Level play. This helps dedicated Gamers to know the good and bad points of the Game even before playing it. This also helps those who are frustrated with highly polished marketing Trailers and Teasers available in Gaming Websites that never gives the real feel of the Game.
- Reviews of the Games I play in my own perspective: The reviews doesn’t just explore the features of the Game alone, it also explores the Story (if it’s story based Game) and some tactics and the benefit of that game.
- Reviews on PC Graphics Cards, Gaming Consoles, Portable Gaming Devices, Monitors etc.
- Technical Articles on various aspects of Gaming
- Troubleshooting Tips on common problems and FREE help to those who wants it through commenting in this Blog or sending a mail to me.
- Help on Buying the Game, Installations, Walkthroughs and Cheats if available.
